This design is named for one of the greatest artists of the big screen, like all of the new Trasparenze collection, and it really lives up to its namesake. Like the director’s body of work, not a piece is out of place, nor an asset under utilized. Everything is perfectly poised, with the lace ups of this design being broken up in ways that might not make sense at first, but all together the effect is a stunning one. With a few gaps in the pattern around the thighs, the lower half looks like a pair of tall boots, and there’s a little more room for the flattering patterns around the top of the design. This is Italian design at its best, yet another thing it shares with its visionary namesake.
