Robert Burns also known as Rabbie Burns and Bard of Ayrshire, was a Scottish poet and regarded as the National poet of Scotland. A pioneer of romantic poetry in Scotland some of his finest works are of course "my love is like a red red rose" and "Auld Lang Syne". Each year on 25th January there is a celebration of his life and traditionally tartan tights are worn. We love these tights. The rich red and the plaid print makes them truly special and we're sure Robert Burns would love them too.
