Veloutine has always been numbered based on its thickness, so what does Veloutine 0 mean? Simply, Veloutine 0 is so sheer, that it can hardly be felt on your legs. An 8 denier item with a 5 denier appearance, it's difficult to tell whether you're wearing the item or not, yet the rich colour of the item immediately brings a beautiful lustre to your legs. What's more, to remain invisible, Pierre Mantoux have stitched the toes underneath, so that you can't see the stitching from above. This is the most subtle, comfortable and lovely item Pierre Mantoux have ever released.

In my opinion these tights don't deserve this price tag. The quality is below some tights in the same price range. You can buy superb Oroblu Divine 10 or Falke Lunelle for the similar price.
Veloutine 0 in black color has pronounced coarse texture which is not acceptable for this price. Poudre has much smoother feeling.
They look beautiful on legs but again, I don't like their texture, especially in black color. I will never buy them in black again. Some much cheaper black tights are better choice.

Very sheer tights with minimal shimmer. I can compare them with Falke Lunelle 8, which are more on semi-glossy side . I like hidden toe seam very much! These are the only Pierre Mantoux tights that I can comfortably wear in size L, every other I tried were a bit small in size L, while I often wear size M from other brands like Falke, Oroblu, Wolford etc. Pierre Mantoux Size XL is not option for me because they are making them with back panel which I find very unattractive. When buying Pierre Mantoux tights always buy one size up.

I have found a new favorite!!! The Velotine O (in poudre) my colour choice, are exquisite, luxurious, with an amazing fit that becomes one with your legs!!! A perfectly pure matte finish, with a very subtle lustre. Pierre Mantoux has perfected these tights. . . . . Beautiful!!!! Please keep these in stock !!!!!

Very sheer for certain, and soft and highest of materials. Provides a great finishing, detailed effect on the legs, w/o attention to the tights themselves. What was unexpected though, is that panty seems lowish, rather hipster in style, not rising up much and very much like tight fitting, low rise jeans. At first you think they are too short, however as a somewhat low rise style, it makes it an easy wearing pair that won't roll down, but may not be very forgiving for those of use with a slight bit of tummy.
