A truly mystic and complex design, Pierre Mantoux Merry is the meeting of three very different patterns that work incredibly well together. The argyle-inspired front and the checkerboard back both serve to keep the eyes excited and slim the legs, which they do marvellously well. But what brings these two together and stops them clashing? The mysterious white pattern that flows down the centre of the tights. The big, stark and bone-white flourishes against the highly detailed legs creates a powerful contrast and ties everything up in the neatest little bow. A masterpiece of visuals from Pierre Mantoux.
