Bahia is a little difficult to pin down at first. The design is a wonderful one, and beautiful to look at, but it isn't the usual clear cut pattern or even an abstract concept. At first you think it's bow ties, which gives it a formal edge, a kind of sophistication. But when you look closer, you might think that you're seeing butterflies. This seems more in keeping with the name, Bahia, a region of the beautiful and lush nation of Brazil. Brazil is home to so many gorgeous and delicate breeds of butterfly that it isn't an odd thing to see them reproduced. These striking black markings are set on top of a fine and subtle diamond pattern, which makes them, and your legs, stand out even more.
